The Main Projects

1. Surface modification and characterization, Chemically modified electrodes(CMEs), and Self-assembled Monolayers(SAMs) and Multilayers Electrodes, and Monolayer-encapsulated Metal Nanoparticles Electrode

Organic Polymer Conductor: polypyrrole, polyaniline and polythiophene and their derivatives; Polyvinylferrecene and its derivatives CME, Mixed valence CME such as Prussian Blue and its analogs, Porphyrin and metalloporphyrins and metallophthalocynines CME, Polyvinylpyridine CME, Isopoly- and heteropolyacid CME, Nafion and Nafion+crown ether or other specific reagent CME, Easterman-AQ CME and ultramicroelectrode(UME) and chemically modified UME, SAMs, Supramolecular assembles.
Characterized by different kinds of electrochemical and specific methods such as UV, Vis, IR, FTIR, ESR, NMR, ESCA, MS, SEM, X-ray diffraction and 4-cyle X-ray diffractometer, Raman spectroscopy, SPM, GCMS, HPLC, CD and EQCM etc..

2. Spectroelectrochemistry(SE) and Electrochemical Luminescence(ECL)

In-situ UV, Vis, IR and FTIR, ESR, CD and Raman Spectroscopy and ECSPM study for Adsorption and Desorption, Orientation, Thermodynamics and Kinetics, Mechanisms of Electrode Process, Intermediates, Biomolecular Conformation.

3. Bioelectrochemistry
